just curious if anyone has used the HTC Touch Pro with mobile speaks?
Do you like it? is it hard to get use to the touch screen? Hopefully I read this correctly, and it works with mobile speaks. lol If I'm wrong, sorry! lol!
come on help a girl out! heheheh
I use us cellular and am looking into a new phone. I currently have the q, getting bored with it!
It only works with mobile speak 4. It also has a slide out keyboard. Have you looked at the Ozone? It's laid out sort of like the Moto Q.:) Good luck
thanks. yeah, i've seen the ozone. I wanted something different. i like the slide. have you messed with the htc touch pro? just wondering how hard it is to get use to the touch screen ? thanks.
I don't know much about the touch-screen part of it. However, there are podcasts demonstrating using the touchscreen part of a phone with MS 4. I'm just waiting until MS 4 comes out to buy my Touch pro 2. Codefactory sent out a list of phones that MS 4 is supposed to work on, but I want to be sure before I totally put my money into anything. I mean, I'm pretty sure MS 4 will support the Touch pro 2. I'm just being causious. This is my first accessible phone ever, so.... yeah:) Also, just FYI, you can upgrade the Touch pro 2 to windows mobile 6.5. MS 4 will work with phones that support this OS version. Good luck and sorry for the rambling.:)
hi shea.
you much better off getting one of the nokia phones because they much more stable than the windows versions and also the windows phones eat the battery like anything. my currant phone the e71 if i don't use it that much i can still get close to a week out of it without recharging the battery. normally when sults is home so i'm using it every day, i'll get 2 maybe 3 days out of it. but that' with a couple hours on the phone or so each night. that's without texting, browsing the net, going out and about using my gps which i have on the phone. it really does last. i used to have a windows phone. big mistake. the thing crashed more times than i care to admit.
Well, if she has verizon, she has no choice but to get a windows phone. I have lots of friends that have windows mobile devices and they are happy with them. I just ordered my touch pro2 earlier this morning, so I should be getting it sometime this week.
i've considered the touch pro 2 myself after suggestions from some friends around here. now the problem is convincing my no good mom to help me get it. my q works, that's all she cares about
Hmmm, interesting!
yeah, i have a windows phone and have had not problems with it. and not many companies around here support the nokia like they do there Darren. so I'm still thinking about the touch pro.
you'll have to let me know how it is when you get it. thanks
I sure will. I should have an update for you by Saturday.:)
what carrier you with shea? because t mobile will support them.
Well, since she is asking about the HTC touch pro2, I'm going to assume she's either with verizon or sprint.
us cellular. t mobile sucks here! bad reception
I think MS 4 will be coming out tomorrow. BTW, it was confirmed on the MSS list that MS 4 will work with the TP2.:)
OK 2 items of information. Mobile speak 4 has been released today, and yes it does support the touch pro2. Good luck
i prefer to use nokia phones on At&T anyways just so i can atleast take advantage of the 3G.. unless it says otherwise chances are most unlocked nokia will only run on edge when it comes to data on T-Mobile.
OK, so here's what I've learned so far. The HTC touch pro2 works well. I have installed the loquendo and the Acopela voices, and have realized that acopela seems to work a bit better which is fine. I like heather the most. So far, so good really. I am pleased with my phone. It's very responsive. If you have any more questions let me know.
